People who came from Kufa and Egypt, they encompassed the House of Caliphate. Even they stopped to supply the drinking water in the house. Meanwhile Ali a.s interfered the matter and sent his sons to protect Caliph and house of Caliphate. On addressing of the Marwan to people who were from Kufa and Egypt, the people replied they are not here to murder Caliph but only for accountability.

They planned to attack on them and Abdul Rehman son of Muljim was given task to attack on Ali.
