With the birth of his son from his beloved wife Rachel (she was also sister of Leah, another wife of Prophet Jacob, both of them were the daughters of Laban). she died on the way back to Canaan. It was the 2nd son of Rachel, first son was named as Yousuf (Joseph) and 2nd one was named as Benjamin.
