At night they came back to Jacob a.s. who was waiting for them ...... with Yousuf's shirt red with blood, they started crying and weeping and told him that Yousuf was torn by wolfs and they could not save him from wolfs. Jacob a.s was also an intelligent person and had a wise mind, he questioned if Yousuf was torn by wolfs then why his shirt is not in good conditioned even there is no cut on the shirt.

Prophet Jacob understood all situation about his sons that they were telling lie about their act about Yousuf. On the other hand in well Yousuf was satisfied and comforted by an angel from dark and fear. All people of city along with Jacob's family searched Yousuf every where in desert but they did not find Yousuf. Even Jacob called wolfs back and questioned them about Yousuf but they replied they never ever saw Yousuf or torn him.
