When first time Yousuf's brothers came to Egypt for wheat, Yousuf asked many questions about their family, father, and another brother who was still waiting at home for wheat with their father Jacob. Then Yousuf also allowed them that they can come for wheat again in case on need but conditionally they were also required to take their younger brother Benjamin there in Egypt.

So, soon, the wheat they taken to their homes finished and again they came back to Egypt along with Benjamin. Jacob a.s advised them to enter the city in groups each group of two members. They reached into the palace where Yousuf told them to sit in group of brothers from single mother. Benjamin remained alone because his brother Yousuf was lost and only those both were from a single mother Rachel.
